3) you can go to ram's website and look up the truck configuration tool and see what a limited's capacity will be with the new rear end 2019 ram 2500 w/ snow chief, dual alternators, bed utility group and 3.73 rear. You need to input whether 4 wheel drive, type of cab, etc as they all affect towing and payload capacity

4) make sure you don't exceed the gross combined weight of both truck and trailer. I've seen quite a few 5th wheels being towed by 4th gen ram 1500's in canada and i'm not sure how they accomplished that safely with the truck specs We search the new trucks and found a 2019 1500 etorque 5.7l 4x4 that i really liked
He tells me it does have 3.21 gears but not to worry because it still comes in at upper 10k pounds of towing capacity
Well, besides the fact that it was a blatant lie So now, i’m stuck with a truck with a freaking 8,000 pound tow rating. 2019 ram 1500 classic laramie ecodiesel, 3m carbon 28% window tint, stainless steel tube steps, weathertech wind deflectors, deezee tailgate assist, dualliner, bakflip mx4 tonneau cover, locking diesel fuel cap & locking def cap, gator mud flaps. I have a 2019 warlock classic, 4x4 with 5.7 hemi
We just bought a 30' trailer and i am looking to increase my towing capacity If i change the axel ratio to 3.92, that should increase the towing to $10,230, correct? Looking for feedback on upgrading rotors and pads (calipers too) Looking for those who have seen improvements while towing loads in the mountains
I have had good experiences in the past with using drilled & slotted rotors, so i am looking for any experiences you may have with ones like that.
I have a 2016 laramie with 5.7 hemi and it has the factory tow package as well as front and rear air suspension Is it common for it to come with only 3.21 gears? I have a ‘22 hemi ram 1500 with the 3.21 rear and coil springs, obviously not the best setup for towing I pulled a 32’ travel trailer across country (8k miles) and got 11 miles per gallon running only 87 octane.
I'm thinking of trading my 2012 ram 2500 hemi which has a larger rear axle ratio, for a new 2019 ram 1500 hemi with a 3.21 ratio I live in wyoming so i tow my 18 ft travel trailer over mountain passes in wy, mt, co, etc, when we travel and my 3/4 ton hemi does a good job. The 1500 can tow campers pretty well but the limits are reached or exceeded pretty easily
